The Awards are open to blind or partially sighted children and young people up to the age of 18, who may also have other physical disabilities and/or learning difficulties. Parents or carers can apply on their behalf by completing and sending back a Music Award application form.
The grants go towards:
music lessons music therapy sessions
the purchase of musical instruments, software or other equipment concert tickets
travel related to musical activities
You can help now by donating to The AMBER Trust. £5 would pay for a set of drumsticks £15 would pay for a piano lesson £20 would pay for a guitar lesson £25 would pay for a music therapy session £100 would pay for Braille transcription of a short musical score £120 would pay for 10 clarinet lessons £315 would pay for Sibelius music software £800 would pay for a year’s piano lessons £900 would pay for a new upright piano £1,000 would pay for a year’s music therapy sessions |
